As you may remember from an earlier posting, Kate Hibbs (9-years-old) was the Winner, First Prize of the Little Mozart's Crescendo International Competition 2022 (virtual) . Here she is performing in Carnegie Hall's Weill Recital Hall in the winners' concert in May.
Following this exciting journey to the Big Apple, Kate was named a Prize Winner at the Frost Young Artist International Piano Competition (virtual), age 9 and under. Sponsored by the University of Miami's Frost School of Music, she was granted a special award, "Best Performance of a Baroque Work", which was streamed on the internet at the Winners' concert.
Way to go, Kate! Keep it up! You are at the very beginning of a long and exciting road ahead!
