Jasmine Jiang and Orion Kim continue the torrid pace of awards bestowed on our Premier Class of young artists. Last Saturday, Jasmine and Orion were among those selected, by audition, to have the honor and opportunity to perform with the Golden Valley Orchestra on March 10th. This is Jasmine's first big "win" after only her first two outings in local competition. In December, as earlier noted, Jasmine was a finalist in the St. Paul Piano Teachers Concerto Competition. She will be performing the finale of the brilliant and scintillating Concerto in G minor, Opus 25, by Mendelssohn. This will be Jasmine's first performance as a soloist with orchestra.

Orion's latest win will mark his seventh performance with four different orchestras in his young budding student career as a young pianist. He is just in the seventh grade and now holds our studio record for so many concerto appearances by one so young! Definitely a great indication of things to come!! Orion will be performing on the same program with Jasmine. He will be presenting the finale of the great Concerto in D minor, K. 466 by Mozart.

Let us all get out and support these wonderful young artists representing the best of Minnesota!

Concert Date/Time/Location:

March 10, 2019, 3:00 pm, Calvary Lutheran Church, Golden Valley, MN
