Following his latest achievement of placing 4th in the Sydney International Piano Competition in July, Crocus Hill Studio's great alumnus, Kenny Broberg, has just been named to the next qualifying round of the Van Cliburn International Piano Competition. This round will be held in Fort Worth, Texas in February. Kenny is in town, and will be performing a solo recital this weekend in the Twin Cities. The recital is Saturday, January 14, 2017, 2:30 pm at our "Home Base" of Schmitt Music, Edina. Kenny will be performing works by Bach, Barber, and Liszt, among others. We sincerely hope that all of our students, parents, and friends of CHS will come out to hear this great young pianist and alumnus of our Program for the Gifted and Talented Young Pianist. Kenny is "knocking on the door" of a major concert career. Let us all be there to share in his great playing, and support his tremendous service to the Art of Music.
